The seals on this page belong to David Diringer's Class 2. Aside from the icon design (which has been misleadingly described as "schematic" & "stylized" based on weak/partial impressions when actually the designs were more realistic & detailed than those of x4C (Diringer's Class 1)), the bottom of the first letter in the LMLK inscription is positioned close to the icon's Forewing tip whereas Class 1 positions it near the Head. In general, the inscriptions on these seals are best described as "lapidarist" or "elegant" (i.e., they were incised short, precise, & bold by a skilled, literate engraver).
