University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology #62-30-1499

Excavation date:  not recorded

Locus:  not recorded

Seal type:  cannot classify beyond x4L

Note:  On p. 190 of his book, "Theology, History, and Archaeology in the Chronicler's Account of Hezekiah", Andrew G. Vaughn described this handle as being Lemaire's type "?Ia with concentric circles"; yet as you can see, the stamp is closer to Lemaire's Ib, & there is no evidence of circles, although there are a few large craters on the top & another deep one on the bottom.
