Description by Michael Welch:  #101 Seven-eighths of a jar handle with a very tiny amount of jar pottery remaining. Pottery color is brownish pink with a black core and white grits throughout. Bears possibly an S4L impression. Out of LMLK on the top, perhaps the bottom stroke of the initial Lamed remains; most all of the Mem, second Lamed and Kaph remain. Out of SUKH on the bottom, no letters remain. Around one-half to two-thirds of the four-winged scarab emblem remains. On the left side of the handle in the middle are two small puncture holes with some twisting deformation of the handle near the top hole. Perhaps these were caused by some sort of two pronged metal fork which moved the jar around in the hot kiln. Also there is one drag brush line (I guess caused by the wet smoothing brush) starting at the lower right wing moving downwards in an S-pattern. The whole outer surface is porous like the grits exploded outwards.
