Description by Michael Welch:  #44 One-fourth to two-thirds handle with a small amount of pottery on the bottom.  Pottery color is brownish red-brick with gray grits throughout, and a black core.  On the bottom of the jar pottery are potter's wheelmarks.  Bears possibly a G2B or a Z2D type impression.  Out of LMLK on the top, no letters remain.  Out of ZP on the bottom perhaps most of the Pe remains.  Around two-thirds of the two-winged emblem remains.  An old black ink #5 from a previous collection is on the bottom.
