Description by Michael Welch:  #88 Three-fourths of a jar handle with a small amount of jar pottery remaining on the bottom. Jar pottery bottom shows some potter's wheelmarks, a few potter's fingerprint smudges remain on the bottom inside of the handle. Pottery color is brownish with white grits throughout and a black core; some pinkish red-brick color shows through where chipped. A few smudges and striations and fingernail impressions are on top, probably made by the Royal Official doing the sealings. Bears a type M2D impression. Out of LMLK on the top, a trace of the first Lamed, part of the Mem, the second Lamed, and the Kaph remain. Out of MMST on the bottom, part of the Shin, and about one-half of the Tau remain. Around one-half to two-thirds of the two-winged sun disc emblem remains. An old black ink # 35 from a previous collection remains on the bottom.
