Here is a detailed inventory of the LMLK handles at the Palestine Exploration Fund in London, England (all photos are reproduced by permission of the PEF):
Excavated by Warren from Jerusalem
Note: These first six handles were assigned the letters A through F by Clermont-Ganneau in his 1883 publication (Journal Asiatique ser. 8 vol. 1: "Sceaux et Cachets"). He then added the letter G for the seventh handle in his 1901 publication ("Recueil d'Archeologie Orientale Tome IV") along with the letter H for the handle with a Plus mark (shown on the Beginning page), which is presently in an unknown location so no photos are available of it.
- Type Z2D, 9:00, SGG, 2; complete handle Designation AO, PEF No. 138, 50/8176, Tag 223 (click for details)
Note: This impression also appears in Hasmodia 2004-8-18 (ad by The Living Torah Museum
- Type M2D, 6:00, Axx, 0 Designation AO, PEF No. 143, 50/8181, Tag 228 (Note--matches Dr. Birch's 1870 transliteration "LeK SHaT"; Sayce in PEQ v32, 1-1900, p. 67: "(No. 6) where there are traces of a double impression"; in PSBA v20, Plate I Fig. 4 & p. 219, Pilcher identifies a line drawing as "No. 68", which conflicts with Sayce's description of PEF No. 140)
- Type M2D, 3:00, SGG, 4 Designation AO, PEF No. 140, 50/8178, Tag 225 (click for details)
- Type G2T, 9:00, SGx, 0 Designation AO, PEF No. 141, 50/8179, Tag 226 "4, 67" (Note--in PSBA v20, Plate I Fig. 3 & p. 219, Pilcher identifies a line drawing as "No. 67"; this is probably the impression transliterated by Dr. Birch in 1870 as "LeK")
- Type S2DW, 10:00, Axx, 0 Designation AO, PEF No. 142, 50/8180, Tag 227 (Note--In "Repertoire d'Epigraphie Semitique v3" an S2x from Warren's Jerusalem excavation is listed; in PEQ v25, 1-1893, p. 30, Sayce lists "SH(?)-K-H [No. 69]"; in PSBA v20, Plate I Fig. 5 & p. 220, Pilcher identifies a line drawing as "No. 69")
- Type x2x, 5:00, SGx, 0 Designation AO, PEF No. 137, Tag 222 (Note--lack of tracability in PEF Museum documentation, but the Tag # & stamp matches Clermont-Ganneau's description in "Recueil d'Archeologie Orientale Tome IV")
Note: Probably an M2U; possibly an H2D
- Type x2x, 4:00, SGx, 0; complete handle Designation AO, PEF No. 139, 50/8177, Tag 224, Label "No. 52. G Ophel, 19.1.69 52 feet"
