Note:  The stray diagonal mark near the top of the seal (just to the left of the letter Mem) may have been the intended beginning of the first Lamed letter, which would imply that this might have been the first seal of the x2U series & therefore the first 2-winged LMLK seal; but it also could have been a deliberate vertical word divider (although it would have been a mistake based on all the other seals); or it might have been the beginning of the second Lamed letter & the engraver halted thinking there would not be room for the letter Kaf above the icon, which again would imply that this might have been the first seal of the x2U series & therefore the first 2-winged LMLK seal; one thing known for certain is that this Z2U design was used in 1948 on the first postage stamps to bear the name of the state of Israel
